At NP, eLearning is truly mobile.
Learning happens 'anytime, anywhere and on-the-GO' at our wireless campus. Teaching & Learning Centre (TLC) created and/or hosted these eLearning platforms and tools to support the Teaching & Learning (T&L) here:
NP's Learning Management System (currently on Blackboard Learn) is fondly referred to as "MeL", which stands for Mobile eLearning. MeL enables our students to access their module information and learning materials, take quizzes, participate in online activities and submit assignments anywhere, anytime, and on the go. To engage our students online, staff can also create virtual classrooms on MeL, as well as develop engaging learning resources using mash-ups and collaborative tools.
iVID is NP's very own video sharing platform for the use and creation of videos by NP for NP. iVID facilitates easy and secure sharing of creative, media-rich expression of ideas, concepts, stories, and other learning resources amongst members within the NP community.
iLearn is a platform that hosts rich, interactive digital media and courseware developed by NP colleagues to engage students.
iBuilder is a quick and easy tool for NP staff and students to develop and use apps and gamelets for teaching and learning. Other useful and interactive learning resources are accessible through MeL under the "Help & Resources".
