Last week, a friend of mine brought me to this much talked about hawker centre that was always crowded, and when I say crowded, I really mean CROWDED because of all the yummy food they have there! I was a little skeptical, I mean.. how is it even possible that one hawker centre can have thaaaaaaat many famous yummy food. But obviously I was proven wrong when I stepped foot into BEDOK NORTH BLK 85 FENGSHAN MARKET!
Firstly, the crowd was insane throughout the night! We had to walk around for quite a bit before actually managing to find a place to sit. It was a typical hawker centre, except that almost every stall there is bustling and snaking with queues. I, obviously went weak in the knees seeing all the delicious food before me. Okay enough of all that, I'm excited to show you what we ate! I had to find the photos online because I was too much of a glutton to remember to take snapshots. Hahaha.

MINCED MEAT NOODLE 'AKA' BAK CHOR MEE.

What's different about this minced pork noodle is that the usual one we get to eat outside has either dry or soup and has ingredients such as fishcake, mushroom but the one here has a clear soup with just minced pork and meat balls. The stall owner also serves it with a spoonful of red chilli for you to mix with your noodles! Despite how simple this dish looks, its really good compared to alot of minced meat noodles out there!

I simply cannot stop raving about the oyster omelette because for the first time, I can finish an entire plate myself (okay without the oysters!). Usually the Oyster Omelette sold elsewhere isn't as crispy and you would get sick of it after awhile but this one at Bedok 85 is completely different, right from the first to the very last bite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
CHICKEN WINGS

I liked the chicken wings very much because it was grilled the right way, without it tasting burnt or undercooked! Plus I realised that you don't always get to find such chicken wings in Hawker Centres unless you're at Newton, Lau Pa Sat or Bedok 85! Not sure where else has such chicken wings so drop me a comment if you guys know of other places ok!

CHAI CHEE PORK PORRIDGE
The porridge is smooth silky and tasty and the pork is just right!
FRIEND A : Eh, what do you think I should order ah?
FRIEND B : YAH.. they have like so many different kinds, chicken, fish, century egg.
ME : WHAT IS WRONG WITH BOTH OF YOU?! The signboard says Chai Chee Pork Porridge, of course Pork Porridge!!!!!
Yup, they also serve other sorts of porridge apart from just pork porridge, I haven't exactly tried the others so I'll definitely be going back for more!
Well, what I tried there is merely a small portion of what they have and although I was dying to try everything else, my tummy had a major protest and refused to allow anymore food in ): ):
