A couple of semesters ago, the school's campus newspaper, npTribune, ran an article on the stereotypes of NP's seven schools. One of the stereotypes brought up by the student reporter is that engineering students are a sloppily-dressed bunch.
So, with my second-hand Nikon, I trawled the school to bust this stereotype that fashionable engineering students are a rare find.

If you want dark blue hair like his though, be prepared to spend quite a bit on the colouring and maintainence, as he bleached his hair twice before adding on the blue dye.

Si Hui's cheerful character is clearly reflected in her dressing with her interesting match of patterns and textures with her apparels. She makes it a point to always dress well before heading out of her house, debunking the stereotype that engineering students ae sloppy dressers. "It is important to take care of our images because you would want to leave a good first impression on other people. If you dress well, people will think well of you," says the sharp dresser.

A: "It all boils down to the individual and how they carry their clothes off. Although it may seem similar to other students, the individual touches to the outfit can make a subtle difference."

If you think Jervis looks familiar, it is because he is the poster boy for the School of Engineering on their promotional materials for Open House 2011! On the stereotype of him and his schoolmates, Jervis says with a laugh, "I would say that we(engineering students) are unique(in our fashion sense)!"
