The holidays are here and I’ve been bored stiff at home but last week I had some awesome fun at the M:idea chalet to celebrate the end of my internship at the M:idea conglomerate! In case you haven’t heard, M:idea is run by Ngee Ann Poly’s School of Film & Media Studies (we are also Singapore’s first media conglo managed by youths!) http://www.fmsmidea.com/index.php
So anyway, a NORMAL chalet wouldn’t have been half as fun (here at NP, we KNOW how to have fun:)) We had a little something different this time round.. Lets see if you can guess from this picture.
Well.. we had a theme for the BBQ- we had to come as celebrities! That night, I saw Michael Jackson come back to life not knowing how to moonwalk and Harry Potter wearing bermudas munching on chicken wings. I was a failed celebrity because even until I was at the chalet, I couldnt decide between wanting to be Paris Hilton or Nicole Ritchie so I just wore a dress and crossed my fingers that nobody asked me who I was. Hahaha.

I think this was one of the best chalets I’ve been to even though it was just one night. We stayed up the entire night talking and then randomly deciding to BBQ the remaining food at 3am in the morning. But it started raining so we held umbrellas over the BBQ pit and continued cooking.
We went home the next day all horribly sleepy and wiped out (my hair was tied up in a bun on top of my head so that’s how much I didn’t care) but for all that fun we had, anything’s worth it (:
