Dance4Fun: Where all the fun begins!

Giddy up for Dance4Fun, which was held just last week! Dance4Fun is a friendly dance competition between all the faculties in NP during Orientation Week! This year is already the 3rd time that the event has been hosted!

Warning: Image-heavy post!

First things first, the crowd! The people go all the way from the first row of the auditorium (first floor) to the last row of the auditorium (second floor)!

And the audience were not just there to watch the competition, they were definitely there to cheer as well!

To kick-start the event, the Indian Cultural Society performed for us and that got everyone hyped up!

Up next was Magnum Force with their do-not-try-these-at-home stunts and their perfect synchronization and choreography!

Then…came the lineup of dances by the various schools!

Faculty of Electrical Engineering (EE)

School of Humanities (HMS)

Faculty of Electronic & Computer Engineering (ECE)

Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (ME)

School of Engineering (SOE)

School of Business & Accountancy (BA)

School of InfoComm Technology (ICT)

School of Life Sciences & Chemical Technology (LSCT)

Faculty of Building and Environment (BE)

School of Film & Media Studies (FMS)

School of Health Sciences (HS)

All their dances were so spectacular even I had a hard time deciding who was good! I believe the judges were tied at their decisions as well! During this time, we had a wonderful performance from New Revolving Age (hip hop club)!

After their performance, representatives from each school were sent up stage to await the results!

And for 3rd place we have…HS!!!

Then came the anxious moment, where the representatives from FMS and HMS were asked to stand out from the line, and it was announced that one of them was the winner!

I'll give you a clue, look at the following picture to figure out who!

HMS was the winner for Dance4Fun 2011! The whole group of HMS students who were seated near the stage immediately ran down to group hug the dancers! They were so elated; jumping around and cheering loudly!

Congratulations once again to HMS for winning this year's Dance4Fun!
